Since its inception more than 25 years ago, Reston Painting & Contracting has grown to become a leading construction and painting firm serving the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Led by President and founder Dave Hamilton, Reston Painting & Contracting provides comprehensive painting and construction services for condominium, office buildings, apartments, and government properties. The firm also offers a full range of commercial and residential improvement services, including handyman repair, renovation, and painting services.

Employees and Administration

We carefully select and hire experienced craftsmen, tradesmen, and painters. After hiring the very best, we provide our personnel with the support they need to produce quality work, every day.

We invest in our office administration to provide the solid foundation for our resilient, team-oriented contracting company. Our office personnel understand daily business operations in order to provide effective administrative support for our company to excel as an effective team.

Project Management

Managing a project requires professional project management. That’s particularly true for large projects consisting of multiple trades and requiring a high level of coordination and communication. Our project management team consists of a project manager, field supervisor, and an onsite foreman, in addition to our friendly and helpful administrative staff. Their goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with our work and to ensure you have someone you can talk with and get answers. A field supervisor will visit your job daily while communicating with you, the foreman and your project manager.

Reston Painting & Contracting is committed to improving the environment and has put several green building and painting practices in place. We are always evaluating our products and services for ways we can reduce our environmental impact. Our green practices include:

• Using environmentally friendly products and formula, such as composite-wood make from recycled materials and low-VOC (volatile organic compound) paint

• Disposing of thinners, solvents and paints in an environmentally sound way

• Asking staff to ride in the same vehicle to a job site to reduce fuel consumption

• Working with customers who are working toward LEED™ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification for green building designs for their project

• Member of the Green Building Council
