History…
Dave graduated from Virginia Tech in 1987 with a degree in Business. He discovered that he loved the construction industry during his summer jobs while home between semesters and realized his vision to start his a company of his own. Dave’s love for business and construction has fueled his passion for developing a first-class service and quality-oriented company intent on getting better year after year.

As President, Dave’s job is to lead the company in all facets of the business, to communicate the mission and strategic plan on a regular basis, to stay abreast of industry trends and issues, to promote the company to the community, and to lead the company in sales and assure that customer satisfaction is fully met.

Dave has been involved with multiple youth sports organizations where he has coached in various levels for the past 8 years. He enjoys traveling and exploring beach and mountain destinations with his family. He is also active in golfing, bike riding and snowboarding.
You might never have guessed…
Dave lived out of a backpack for extended periods of time while climbing mountains in India, Nepal, Tibet, Argentina, Chile and Europe. He adores remote destination travel.
Tom Blaisdell, Sales & Project Manager
History…
Tom was born and raised on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Ken Blanchard College of Business at Grand Canyon University and went on to obtain a specialized business operations associate’s degree from the San Diego Golf Academy in 2001. Tom joined the RPC team 4 years ago and has worked in property management and real estate for 10+ years.

Tom is responsible for all managerial and administrative aspects of a project. This includes estimating, scheduling, progress measurement, billing, design review and coordination, cost studies, safety, and proposal preparation.

Tom puts his professional golf skills to use an instructor and coach for junior high school and high school golf teams.

Tom spent 2 years volunteering at an Alzheimer’s home in Florida and recently completed his first marathon in DC.
George “Bart” Weeks, Project Manager/Supervisor 
History…
Bart was born and raised in Fauquier County, Va as the youngest of 4 …he has all older sisters which explains a lot! For the first 5 years of his career, he worked as a rough framer building homes throughout Northern Virginia. Next, Bart spent a couple of years locating utilities but his passion for construction drove him back to the residential building industry as remodeler. After 8 years, he joined Reston Painting & Contracting where his knowledge of building, project management, and product performance make him a perfect fit.

Bart manages jobs from take-off to completion. Clients and staff alike appreciate his thorough knowledge of both residential and commercial property management. Bart’s comprehensive communication style and willingness to do whatever is needed makes him a big asset to every job.

Bart volunteers on many Leukemia Lymphoma Society events including the Light the Night Walk in Washington, DC. He is a huge Washington Capitals fan, and a proud Batman enthusiast and toy collector. But Bart dedicates most of his free time to working on his wives’ long list of home renovation projects. Smart Bart!

Bart can dance up a storm to Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean. We promise to post pictures on RPC’s Facebook page if we can get him to show us his moves at the end of year party.
Jason Keyes, Field Supervisor
History…
Jason was born in Harrisburg, PA and spent most of his youth between central PA and Northern VA attending schools in East Pennsboro Township and locally in Loudoun County. He enjoys spending the day getting his hands dirty because he grew up in a blue collar, close knit family with uncles in various trades such as carpentry, painting, and mechanics. His upbringing taught him strong work ethic and he gets a sense of pride from a job done right.

Jason started with Reston Painting and Contracting 8 years ago and was hired as a Carpenter’s Assistant. Now a Field Supervisor, he helps bridge the information flow between the office and the field. He performs job starts, executes supply take-offs, puts together material packages, and generally helps out wherever he is needed.

When Jason is not at work, his time is spent with his beautiful, intelligent wife and staying active with their three young boys, ages 3, 4, and 6. They enjoy trips to the park, bike rides, and after dinner walks as a family. They also love weekend cookouts and camping trips.

Jason thrives when working the toughest projects. He feels a great sense of satisfaction starting with something that has been neglected or damaged and transforming it into something that works like new.
Elizabeth Hamilton, Vice-President of Marketing
History…
Elizabeth was born in Albany, NY. She lived in DC for a couple of years when she was little but mostly grew up in Cincinnati, OH. Elizabeth went to college in North Carolina, and after graduating from UNC-Greensboro with a degree in Communications, she moved to DC for good. Elizabeth’s career started in radio at the old – old WHFS and classic rock stations WCXR and WPGC. In addition to radio programming, marketing and sales, Elizabeth worked at the National Association of Broadcasting and with many other local businesses over the past 15 years to help them discover, communicate, and live their message and mission. Elizabeth recently went back to school and earned a Marketing Certificate from Georgetown University.

Elizabeth’s job is to help Dave and his terrific team of craftsman showcase their work on the web, on paper, in person and through reputation. She makes it easier for perspective clients to find RPC and learn if the company is the right fit for a project.

Elizabeth truly enjoys living in and exploring the DC Area. Whether it’s spending time with her kids and the community at sporting events or biking on local trails, DC has the best of everything.

Elizabeth wanted to be an orthodontist or an architect when she was a kid.
Rob Dickinson, Carpenter
History…
Rob was born in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Virginia when he was 10. He is a Master Carpenter with a specialty in cabinet making. Rob has built 1000+ decks by himself without a helper.

Rob’s old school craftsmanship makes him a champion in framing, decks, finishing and trim.

When he’s not at work, Rob likes to fish and conduct volunteer work.
